Matt Turck has been TIME's Associate Publisher since June 2000. In addition to overseeing TIME's U.S. sales operation of nine domestic offices, in April of 2002 he took over responsibilities for TIME's Canadian operation. He also manages sales for People magazine and Sports Illustrated for Canada-to-Canada and Canada-to-the-United States advertising.
Prior to his current position, he served as New York Advertising Sales Manager since February 1997. Before moving to New York, Matt managed TIME's Los Angeles and Southwest offices. He joined TIME in 1989 as a sales representative in Chicago.
Before coming to TIME Magazine, Matt spent two years at Esquire Magazine as the Associate Midwestern Advertising Manager and several years in media planning at HDM Dawson Johns & Black Advertising, also in the midwest.
A native of Michigan, Matt graduated from Michigan State University with a degree in Advertising. He and his wife live on the Upper West Side in Manhattan. |
